A reformed historian who battles daily between her love of silversmithing and gorgeous fountain pens. She’s a magpie when it comes to gorgeous ink and like everyone else, always on the hunt for the ever-elusive perfect flex nib.
She’s fascinated by the beauty of vintage fountain pens and takes a lot of joy in restoring them (and that’s good news for you, as they are often for sale and move on to happy homes!).
Her silversmithing revolves around a love for metal, art and mixing different medias with it to bring her imagination to life. Sometimes it’s wearable, sometimes it isn’t. And sometimes it’s for sale, too.
Ophelia has spent years restoring antique and vintage fountain pens. It started as hobby but has expanded over the years to encompass both sales and requests (on occasion).
It was only natural that over the years her love for silversmithing, fountain pens, fountain pen restoration, and fountain pen ink should merge.
So these days one can expect lots of crossover in Ophelia’s art. Sometimes it’s just the fountain pens. Sometimes it’s urban sketching with fountain pen ink. And sometimes it’s just plain ol’ silversmithing…. and sometimes it’s everything, and more, combined!
She’s in it for the art, she moves at her pace and so does this website.
